FiFo privacy policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
FiFo is a Chrome extension that creates a project’s folder structure in Figma. This policy explains what FiFo does with your data.
What FiFo reads
When you click the FiFo icon, FiFo reads the address (URL) and the title of the active tab. It uses them only to find the Figma folder or team where the new folders will go.
What FiFo stores
FiFo stores these things in your Chrome profile:
- the project name and the folder list while you edit them, so your work isn’t lost if the panel closes.
- the folder list you save as your default, so your next project starts from it.
- a short note while folders are being created, so FiFo can warn you if the panel closed before the creation finished.
If Chrome sync is on, your saved default syncs with your Google account, like other Chrome data.
What FiFo sends
When you click “Create folders”, FiFo sends the folder names to Figma to create the folders, using your own Figma session. FiFo sends nothing else, to Figma or to anyone else. FiFo has no server, no analytics and no ads.
What FiFo doesn’t do
FiFo doesn’t sell or transfer your data. It doesn’t use your data for anything other than creating your folders. It doesn’t use your data to decide creditworthiness or for lending.
Deleting your data
You can delete your saved default at any time with “Delete my saved default” inside FiFo. Removing FiFo from Chrome deletes the data it stored.
Not affiliated with Figma
FiFo is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Figma, Inc. Figma is a trademark of Figma, Inc.
